Ten Bookish Things I Want to Quit Or Have Quit - Top Ten Books I dnf

Top Ten Tuesday is Hosted by The Broke and Bookish.

This one was tough, especially since I recently wrote about series I wouldn't be finishing. So instead here are the top ten books that I dnf. How bout you? Have you dnf a book EVERYONE else loved? Did you finish any of the ones I listed? Or dnf them yourself?

Loved the first one, couldn't get through the second
Reason: Meh

 Reason: See DNF Reveiw

 Reason: Boring, Confusing, Meh,
Not scary and I hated the writing style.

 Reason: Read the DNF Review

Reason: Creepy mermaids (not in a cool way),  boring, crappy writing, yucky love story

Reason: Enjoyed the first three got
tired of the MC and the plot.

Reason: I could not care less about the characters or plot

Reason: Loved the first two, but this felt like a different author wrote it, with a totally different plot.

Reason: BORING

Reason: Actually Christian fiction,
and I am not the only person who picked this up without understanding that.

  1. I felt the same way about The Last Echo! I couldn't finish it because I hated where she was taking the story. It felt like it was a completely different author! I just got a copy of Silver in the Blood and read your DNF review. I am a little worried about reading it now, I will admit!

  3. I cannot blame you for Shades of London. The first one was SO good! The third was hard to get through.

Grave Mercy got better further in oddly enough. The last book is slow but I love the MC so much I didn't mind.

  4. Yep, felt the same way about The Last Echo too! It did read like it was a completely different series and it's one of my extremely rare DNF's. I have Another Faust on my TBR pile because someone recommended it, that was 3 years ago and I still haven't read it.

  5. I actually enjoyed Grave Mercy, but understand that it is not for everybody. I have tried so hard to get into the CoN books and just can't. Nick isn't my favorite character in the DH universe. I haven't read any of the others and I may skip some of them now. :)

This is an award free blog, I love the thought, but I just don't have the time.
Thanks!
